GUARDED

Image
My heart is stupid, it does not know when to pause I am used to playing with fire, I knew at some point it would burn me I watched the flames go up I had to stop the fire before it burnt  You, yes you knocked on my shell I was safely tucking myself staying out of feelings From love's tempestuous, reckless ride I played with fire, knew the cost Yet flames of desire, I couldn't exhaust But then you came, a knock so clear Awakening emotions, dispelling fear You pulled me from my guarded shell Made me feel like I could truly fly My heart, so foolish, yearned to chase In your charm's embrace, a risky escape  I vowed simplicity, yet danced with danger Knowing I'm no stranger to love's fervor I can't blame you, your face revealed Resentment and confusion, emotions concealed You may never grasp my reasons, it's true But guarding my heart, the one thing I must do As you fade into the distant sky's art Cursing my name, we drift worlds apart I hope the ...

TEMPTING DESIRES

Beneath the gentle pitter-patter's grace, Rain's lullaby usually lulls me to sleep's embrace. Yet tonight, a twist in the tale unfolds, Gin's fire stirs desires untold. Sleep eludes me, as thoughts ignite, A dance of longing, shadows in the night. Boundaries firm, lines carefully drawn, In pursuit of pleasure, I tread on dawn. You, the enigma that tempts my mind, In ways uncharted, fascination I find. But I'm anchored by vows to remain true, To principles forged, safety in view. In the labyrinth of thoughts, I find no release, For safety's sake, my yearnings I cease. Yet you, lost as I in this complex maze, A craving for warmth through life's haze. My fortress of security I build alone, Relying on myself, strength to be shown. In a world where desires and boundaries twine, I navigate the storm, seeking stars to align.

KISS ME

Kiss my lips as dreams take flight, A tender touch in the hush of night, A whispered promise, hearts awry. Kiss my forehead, a gesture kind, A love unspoken, yet clearly defined, In that moment, our souls intertwine. Curled up snug, warmth all around, A kiss upon my nose, so sweet, Affection's dance, our hearts do meet, Kiss me on the cheeks, a joyous tease, A bond unbreakable, our hearts at ease, In your tender gaze, my love's renewed. Neck's tender nape, a tempting sight, Kiss me there, desire's flame aglow, Passion's fire, like a river's flow. Back of my hand, a silent plea, Kiss it gently, attention's plea, Our connection strong, undeniable spree, With lustful longing, kiss me wild, Unleash desire, like a raging storm, In your arms, I find my norm. For want and need, our hearts align, Kiss me as though you can't resist, In every touch, the world dismissed, My lips, your poison, a dangerous game, Kiss me, a taste of both heaven and sin, A dance of emo...

SPRING

In Spring's embrace, rebirth takes flight, New beginnings bloom, a splendid sight. Surprises unfold with petals that sway, A symphony of life, day by day. The sun above, a warm embrace, Illuminates hope, with gentle grace. New lovers' whispers, sweet and pure, In Spring's embrace, love's allure. A cappuccino's aroma fills the air, Promising dreams beyond compare. Though we may wing it, uncertainty near, In Spring's embrace, we let go of fear. Sounds of progress, a melody of cheer, As we strive to conquer what's held dear. Committed to making the pieces align, In Spring's embrace, aspirations entwine. Differences emerge, a change in view, Past mistakes guide us, wisdom accrue. Learning life's answers in petals unfurled, In Spring's embrace, a transformation swirls. No more echoes of errors left behind, Choosing what's easy, a tranquil find. For battles exhaust, and peace does sing, In Spring's embrace, a fresh start's wing.

AUTUMN

Image
In an era's gentle twilight, change unfurls its hand, Sheets of memories flipped, drawn by destiny's command. Curtains of time softly close, whispers on the breeze, Flowers fall like teardrops, from once vibrant trees. Summer's embrace once warmed us, love in full bloom, But petals of passion now lay scattered, leaving room. A mutual understanding, a fate we both apprehend, The end arrives like autumn, an inevitable blend. Bright candles flicker, their radiance soon fades, Yet their scent lingers sweetly, in the memories we've made. As I shut this chapter, a serene peace takes hold, Observing your smile, a story beautifully told. Door closed, heartlight calm, a chapter finds its end, Embracing the change, as eternal seasons blend. Keep that smile as your anchor, let it be your guide, For in the tapestry of our time, love's echoes reside. Autumn's hues will forever paint our shared reason, In the canvas of our past, it remains our cherished season.

A POEM FOR CALOR

Image
In life's shadows, not worth living, Vices and demons, their paths interject, Hospitality denied, hearts unforgiving, Goodness unseen, a soul perplexed. Through a vast life's journey I've tread, Oh, hush weak man, lost in their gaze, Living for others, my own beauty widespread, A gravitation towards your radiant blaze. Calor, my lover, a special embrace, A representation of the gods' design, Few willing to give in this space, In my heart, hurt and love intertwine. A man worth loving, a love once bloomed, But now a husk of the man I should be, Calor's existence, hope beyond consumed, Left pondering, what's left for me? To you, who perceives beyond the veil, I write and plead, be more and true, Cherish the good, let my soul set sail, To a realm where clarity shines through. A piece of my soul, I offer to you, May your light illuminate others' way, Feel the warmth I share, ever true, Farewell, dear Calor, in your presence I'll stay. Goodbye, dea...
